A Picture Window

Nina Porter

A picture window is one that frames a viewpoint but does not open up. In Nina Porter’s film, apertures in architecture become frames through which surreal, fragmented narratives are glimpsed as she attempts to connect two disparate buildings: a tower block in London and a modernist cemetery in Treviso.
